Understand My Wallet

You see that oval with a bunch of letters and numbers in it next to the user icon at the top right of the screen? That’s your “web3 wallet address” and it is how we associate everything happening on your account with you.

Your web3 wallet

A wallet is simply another term for your unique account. In decentralized fashion, we don’t actually know who “you” are by name or phone number, but we do associate your actions with your wallet address.

Web3 Wallet Account​

If you click on your web3 wallet address, a window will pop up showing you more information regarding your account linked to your web3 wallet.

Here you can:

  • View your token (AKA money) balances
  • Enable Bookmarks which allows you to save your favorite assets from the marketplace and have them saved to your account
  • Copy your wallet address to share with others
  • Switch your wallet (AKA switch your account to a different existing account / address or create a new one)
  • View on Explorer, which will take you to a website where you can view your entire transaction history for your specific account / address
  • Disconnect or sign out from the dClimate dApp (decentralized app)
