Dataset ownership is controlled by an NFT when you first publish the dataset. This is helpful because it allows you to transfer ownership to other accounts. This also opens the doors to other opportunities such as selling this data to someone else. This ownership entitles the owner to receive all the future profits of the dataset or past profits not yet claimed by the owner.
